Background:
In recent years, the global service industry and trade in
services has developed rapidly. Developing the trade in services
has become a new focus in competition among the various
countries. In order to deal with the financial crisis, change
the industrial development mode and promote China’s service
industry’s development and international cooperation, CCPIT and
Ministry of Commerce will jointly hold the “ 3rd China Trade in
Services Congress” and “China International Service Industries
Forum.”.
Purpose, Content and Format:
The Forum will include a series of activities such as plenary
session, concurrent forums, match making meetings and displays,
and choose emerging trade in services sectors as the focuses of
the Forum.
The forum will invite government officials to release relevant
supporting policies, explore development trends of service
industry and strategies on dealing with the financial crisis,
discuss hot issues on trade in services and international
cooperation channels and opportunities, display products and
service projects of domestic and foreign service institutions,
carry out match marketing meetings between China and foreign
service institutions and enterprises, provide a platform of
exchange and cooperation for China and foreign enterprises.
